It's been out for a while, but I finally got around to reading Selling Women Short. The stories about women who are battling Wal-Mart's discrimination, sexism, and low-wages read like fiction. I couldn't put the book down. Unfortunately it's not fiction, but that makes it even more important to read.

i agree walmart have done shady things, and i dont shop there. but its hard to tell, for example, a single mom with 4 children whos every penny does count to not go there when she can get the stuff she needs so cheap. so although i am able to choose not to shop there, i dont blame and understand certain people that do out of neccesity. its a tricky situation.
